Research Project Coordinator II – Kleiman Lab (Department of Psychology, Rutgers University, School of Arts and Sciences)

Responsibilities- Assist with management and oversight of federally funded research projects.
- Organize and oversee data collection, entry, and quality checks.
- Assist in development and maintenance of all protocols.
- Recruit and serve as liaison for all study staff.
- Conduct literature searches and collect scientifically supported data to support manuscript writing, grant submissions, and conference presentations.
- Document work performed and maintain proficiency in lab tools (Monday, Slack, Canva) and explore new tools to expand functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace and laboratory following established procedures.
- Train and lead students and post-bac RAs in research methodologies.
- Complete work under direct supervision from the PI, following specific instructions on routine or semi‑routine tasks.
Minimum
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (ideally psychology) and a minimum of two years research experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Sound understanding of the type of research conducted in the lab.
- Good communication skills and computer literacy.
