The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey is seeking multiple post-doctoral associates to join the laboratory of Dr Jun Wang within the Department of Medicinal Chemistry on or about September 1, 2022. The successful candidates will participate in NIH-funded projects in antiviral research. - Benefits

Minimum Education and Experience
- A Ph.D., MD or DVM in a field appropriate to the research area is required.
- Knowledge of molecular cloning, protein expression, imaging, structural biology, immunology, virology and mouse models is preferred but not required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Design and develop biochemical and cell-based assays for various drug targets.
- Perform high-throughput screening and structure-based drug design.
- Study the mechanism of action and mechanism of resistance of antivirals.
- Creatively develop, plan, execute and publish research relevant to the project.
- Participate fully as a lab team member.
- Assist graduate and undergraduate students in research activities.
- Assist in preparation of grants, manuscripts and conference presentations.
