ScheduleNight shift, 4x10-hour schedule (21:00 - 07:30)
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room RN with over 3 years of experience to provide high-quality care in the cardiovascular operating room. The RN will be responsible for scrubbing and circulating in open heart adult surgeries, specifically CABG and valve procedures. Knowledge of advanced devices and procedures, including ECMO and TAVR, is essential.
Responsibilities- Scrub and circulate for cardiovascular surgeries.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.
- Float to the main OR as needed if no CVOR cases are available.
- Participate in patient education and advocacy.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cardiovascular nursing.
- Current BLS certification is required; CNOR certification preferred.
- Active New Jersey or Compact nursing license required at the time of submission.
- Experience with devices such as Impella, Heartmate, and ECMO.
