The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered will depend on factors including education, skills and professional experience.

Required:

• ASN or Nursing Diploma
• At least 1 year of RN experience in Critical Care or 2 years of Telemetry / Step Down experience required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

Preferred:

• BSN or must be completed within 5 years upon hire
• At least 2-3 years of CTICU experience
• Cluster Certification

Certifications And Licenses

Required:

• BLS and ACLS certification
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License

• Evening Shift, 36 hours per week
• Monday – Friday 11a – 11:30p
• Weekends/Holidays 7a - 7:30p
• Part-time, some weekend and holiday rotation

• The Registered Nurse provides nursing care in the health care system within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards and assures awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
• The Registered Nurse ensures safety in practice and applies evidence-based practice principles, communicates with and utilizes resource persons to advance knowledge for the patient care team.
• The Registered Nurse reports identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors.
• The Registered Nurse has knowledge of the patient population served.
• The Registered Nurse supervises and directs delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other care providers.
• The Registered Nurse sets and evaluates priorities with measurable outcomes toward improvement.
• The Registered Nurse is an individual practitioner and an interdisciplinary team manager, uses the nursing process to tailor the plan of care to the patient’s needs.
