Job TitleMaintenance Technician - Pharmaceutical manufacturing
Schedule- 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday (must be able to train on 1st shift)
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance in accordance with cGMP standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to maintain optimal efficiency.
- Complete non-routine tasks as needed to support production goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation for preventive maintenance (PMs), breakdowns, and usage logs.
- Follow all company safety policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist with improvements and maintenance across site operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, odors, gases, dust, and hazards such as moving mechanical parts, high places, burns, toxic chemicals, and electric shock.
- Stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and use hands for handling tools and equipment.
- Good vision (close, distance, peripheral, depth perception).
- Lift up to 70 lbs.
- Operate production equipment, hand tools, and computer systems.
- Wear required PPE (safety shoes, glasses, gloves).

Education & Qualifications- High School Diploma, Trade School, or equivalent.
- Ability to identify replacement parts using manuals and resources.
- Basic math and computer skills (MS Office, SAP experience preferred).
- Understanding and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment (e.g., blenders, sifters, mills, printing machines, dust collectors, tablet dedusters, packaging equipment).
- Basic knowledge of cGMP and OSHA regulations.
- English proficiency at Basic A2 level (CEFR).
- Black Seal Boiler License and HVAC Certification.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and control diagrams.
- Welding and plumbing skills (including sweating copper tubing).
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting via Building Management System.
- Familiarity with compressed air/pneumatic systems.
- Ability to fabricate sheet metal guards and simple replacement parts.
- Experience with medium-level equipment (e.g., Compression Machines, High Shear Mixers, Film Coaters, Capsule Fillers).
- Electrical and control troubleshooting using instrumentation (e.g., multimeter).
- Minimum 1–2 years of mechanical maintenance experience in industrial, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical environments.
The base compensation range is $30/hr to $35/hr actual pay may vary based on location and experience. This position may be eligible for the Annual Performance Bonus Plan and Long Term Incentive Plan.
