We are searching for a motivated & experienced Maintenance Supervisor.

We are looking for a skilled and highly organized Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and robotic equipment and machines. You will coordinate work schedules to align with production timelines, considering the availability of machines, materials, and workforce. You will also suggest potential capital investments to enhance equipment availability and implement a reliable preventive maintenance system aimed at reducing equipment downtime.

ESSENTIAL

RESPONSIBILITIES &

ACCOUNTABILITIES :
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct the maintenance and repair activities of our productive lines and equipment to ensure that equipment is available and operational to meet production demands.
  • Provide direct support to technicians in the plant to promptly resolve breakdowns and technical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Oversee and manage a highly functional Preventative Maintenance (PM) program utilizing PRISMA in conjunction with operations and maintenance staff.
  • Direct the preventative maintenance process to ensure production operations run at maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure that maintenance personnel have the necessary materials, tools, drawings, and inspection gauges required to complete tasks within established work standards, safety protocols, and time limits.
  • Lead and guide subordinate personnel, providing instructions and feedback to keep workflow smooth and efficient.
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical repairs within the facility to effectively support and guide the maintenance team.
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance efforts that drive improvement in EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety), compliance, quality, production, and cost.
  • Evaluate and coordinate training needs for the maintenance team, ensuring they are well-equipped to perform preventative maintenance processes while adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • Monitor the performance of team members, provide feedback, and conduct performance appraisals.
  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules and allocate resources effectively to maximize line output while staying within budgetary limits.
  • Coordinate and interact with other departments to address and solve problems, setting plans to achieve company and plant goals.
  • Promote a collaborative and customer service-oriented team environment within the maintenance department.

The position involves 70% hands-on work and 30% desk-based tasks.

In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
  • Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis.
  • Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior.
  • Being aware of issues associated with food safety and safe food handling practices relevant to your job.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Five (5) or more years of Electro mechanic or Maintenance Supervisor experience in a heavy industrial setting or food industry.
  • Working knowledge and experience with MS Word and Excel, and other PC-based production and maintenance reporting applications.
  • Experience reading mechanical, structural, and electrical drawings.
  • Working knowledge and experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Must be able and willing to work in a manufacturing plant environment, including extended periods of time in noisy, dusty, non-air conditioned, or unheated areas.
  • Must be able and willing to work safely and promote and enforce safe work practices.
  • Working in high and low temperatures, outside, and indoors.
