What You’ll DoAs an Electronics Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues
- Work with motors, refrigeration systems, PLCs, and industrial controls
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
- Replace and install electrical components (motors, VFDs, sensors, etc.)
- Use CMMS (MP2) to manage work orders and document repairs
- Collaborate with OEMs and internal teams to resolve technical issues
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, and food safety standards
- Train staff and support continuous improvement initiatives
- 5+ years of experience as an electronics mechanic
- Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and industrial controls
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
