What You’ll Do

As an Electronics Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues
  • Work with motors, refrigeration systems, PLCs, and industrial controls
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
  • Replace and install electrical components (motors, VFDs, sensors, etc.)
  • Use CMMS (MP2) to manage work orders and document repairs
  • Collaborate with OEMs and internal teams to resolve technical issues
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, and food safety standards
  • Train staff and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as an electronics mechanic
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and industrial controls
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
