We are searching for a motivated & experienced Supervisor - Materials and Reporting. Europastry is a family business founded in Barcelona in 1987 by Pere Galles with locations worldwide. The bakery business is our passion and this is your opportunity to be a member of our team.

• Manage daily operations of receiving, warehousing, and distribution by coordinating and implementing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures.
• Meet weekly operational requirements through effective resource planning.
• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements.
• Advise management on actions needed; implement warehouse operations systems for product handling and storage; develop and enforce policies for receiving, inventory management, and shipping.
• Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by enforcing security measures; conduct cycle and physical counts to control inventory integrity and address issues with personnel.
• Plan for receiving materials through facility transfers; maintain predetermined inventory levels; ensure materials for production are available and staged for use.
• Coordinate replenishment through transfer and/or procurement; manage sanitation standards, equipment inspections, and safe operation of the facility.
• Schedule and assign employees to complete warehouse operational requirements; monitor work results and coordinate loading/unloading activities to meet organizational guidelines.
• Develop and implement process improvements in materials and finished goods handling and delivery; promote safety objectives.
• Maintain warehouse staff through training, development, counseling, and performance appraisals; adjust standard work assignments to support shipping and receiving demands and safety goals.
• Contribute to team effort and participate in special projects as required; ensure facility safety and that employees follow safety procedures; report incidents promptly.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in warehouse operations within the organization; foster strong working relationships with operations, planning, inventory, human resources, safety, and freight teams.
• Work with maintenance to ensure freezer units operate at proper temperatures and create a safe working environment.
• Attend company meetings as applicable (e.g., safety, production, department meetings); inform management of problems or complications; participate in special projects and other duties as required.

• Meet company standards for quantity and quality of work; comply with company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to workplace behavior policies, safety policies, GMP regulations, and lockout/tagout requirements per OSHA.
• As part of supervisory duties, back-up and perform work to ensure safe food handling and safety practices; recognize, prevent, and alleviate food safety hazards. In-house Food Safety Training by qualified staff is mandatory; knowledge of SQF code is required.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED and 3-5 years of supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to identify and analyze constraint processes and implement solutions; bi-lingual is required.
