We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Intelligence Lead with 8+ years of experience in designing, architecting, and leading enterprise BI solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Power BI and Tableau with modern data platforms, and solid insurance domain knowledge to drive impactful analytics initiatives and mentor BI teams. Strong experience in data governance and enterprise data analytics strategy is required.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise BI architecture, reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI and Tableau, with exposure to semantic models, Data Warehouse /Data Model concepts.
- Partner with executive stakeholders and business leaders to define BI strategy, gather requirements, and translate complex insurance domain needs (policy, claims, underwriting, premiums, loss ratios) into scalable analytics solutions.
- Architect and oversee enterprise data models, ETL/ELT processes, semantic layers, and self‑service BI frameworks to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Drive the end‑to‑end self‑service BI capability, enabling business teams to independently access insights, build analytical models, and accelerate decision‑making.
- Define and oversee BI deployment standards, release governance, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable analytics delivery across the organization.
- This role will also establish enterprise‑wide data visualization frameworks, promote BI best practices, and ensure alignment between business needs and platform evolution.
- Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, including data quality standards, metadata management, master data alignment, access controls, and compliance with enterprise data policies.
- Drive enterprise data analytics initiatives by defining KPIs, metrics standardization, and data stewardship practices across business units.
- Provide technical leadership in advanced DAX, M (Power Query), SQL optimization, and data modeling best practices.
- Drive automation and operational efficiency using Power Automate and related Microsoft ecosystem tools.
- Collaborate closely with data engineering and platform teams to design and optimize analytics solutions on Snowflake and other modern cloud data platforms.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and performance tuning across all BI and analytics solutions.
- Mentor and lead BI developers, conduct code reviews, and promote adoption of modern BI and data governance capabilities across the organization.
- Support strategic reporting initiatives while enabling enterprise‑wide self‑service analytics.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
