We are seeking a highly motivated E-Commerce Account Manager for our Amazon Sales Team. The primary focus of this role is end-to-end Amazon Advertising account management and performance reporting. In addition to other team members, the role will also support day-to-day operations of our Amazon Retail account as needed. This role will require a strong understanding of data analytics, the ability to understand data/trends to make informed decisions, and a strong ability to articulate performance, to influence the strategic direction of our investments.
We are searching for someone with good business acumen/instincts who is looking to deliver big results in the retail space. This person thrives in small teams where everyone is a significant contributor and is someone who can operate in a proactive fashion or an ambiguous environment.
- End-to-End ownership of Amazon Advertising campaigns - specifically Sponsored Products, Brands, Display, and DSP. Including campaign creation, reporting, optimization, and exit strategies.
- Delivering growth and efficiency results with our Amazon Advertising, tracked via KPIs (incl. TACoS, ROAS, CVR, New-to-Brand, and more)
- Own Advertising spend/investment pacing and reporting, ensuring that we are aligned with monthly budget
- Define, identify, and implement customer acquisition strategies including evaluation of market share and competition.
- Single point owner for the selection and optimization of assets used in our advertising campaigns to ensure best customer experience.
- Continuous exploration and testing of new growth tactics via campaign strategies, bringing forward best-in-class practices, new industry insights and anticipating competitor or algorithm/platform changes.
- Collaborates and lead calls with Amazon Retail, Amazons Advertising and 3rd Party Agencies, ensuring that we are delivering on high impact work streams with external partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Operations, and Finance teams to drive growth and execute business priorities.
- Owns, innovates, and delivers weekly and monthly reports and insights.
- Troubleshoot listing issues, conversion, and Buy Box challenges with high urgency and precision.
- Amazon catalog and listing management including SEO optimization.
- Act as a primary technical lead and trusted advisor to our e-Commerce sales team and internal teams.
- Analyze ASIN-level performance and deliver actionable insights to the Amazon Channel Lead.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma/GED required.
- Experience working with (1P & 3P) is required.
- Minimum 5+ years working within the Amazon Advertising portal, with proven experience of understanding and executing against an Amazon sales strategy.
- Experience as single point owner or manager of multi-million dollar investments/deployments.
- Minimum of 5+ years of working in consumer goods or retail markets.
- Demonstrated knowledge of analytical tools and dashboards with proficiency specifically in Excel.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly communicate how your actions are delivering against a business plan or company’s strategic direction.
- Proven track record of problem-solving capabilities, including solution finding and execution.
- Proactive, self-starter who can work with ambiguity to deliver results.
- Remote work option available with the requirement of being on-site in HQ in New Brunswick, NJ quarterly, and for mandatory meetings as announced
- Hybrid Work Schedule for individuals that reside within 40-mile radius to New Brunswick, NJ with 3 days onsite/2 day remote
- For individuals that meet the requirements of this role, dependent upon skillset and merit the salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000/yr
- This role is not eligible for any short-term incentive type bonuses.
