Director of Business Development (Healthcare Staffing)
Part-time to Fulltime
Location: New Brunswick, NJ (Remote / Hybrid)

We are looking for a high-energy Business Development powerhouse to join our team. As a startup, we aren’t looking for a "manager" of existing accounts; we need a Hunter who thrives on New Market Penetration and has a proven track record in the Healthcare Staffing industry.
You will be responsible for the Full-Cycle Sales process—from identifying untapped opportunities in hospital systems and post-acute facilities to navigating C-Suite Engagement and closing high-value Contract Negotiations
. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape our sales playbook and scale a book of business from scratch.
- Drive Revenue Growth: Identify and secure new partnerships with hospitals, health systems, and clinics across the US.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales funnel, ensuring a consistent flow of leads and conversions.
- Strategic Networking: Utilize networking and industry events to build long-term,
Consultative relationships with CNOs, CEOs, and HR Directors. - Navigate VMS/MSP Portals: Manage and optimize our presence within Vendor Management Systems to secure high-volume staffing orders.
- Market Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, including Joint Commission Standards and regional labor shortages, to position our services effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the recruiting team to ensure a seamless handoff from contract signing to clinician placement.
- Industry Expertise: 5+ years of experience specifically in Healthcare Staffing (Nursing, Allied Health, or Locum Tenens).
- The Startup Mindset: An Entrepreneurial Spirit with the ability to remain Agile in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Proven Track Record: A history of meeting or exceeding aggressive sales quotas and successfully launching new territories.
- Compliance Knowledge: A solid understanding of Credentialing & Compliance requirements within the US healthcare system.
- Communication: Exceptional persuasiveness and High EQ
, with the ability to build trust quickly in a competitive market. - An associate or Bachelor’s degree (healthcare related) / Business.
