Summary:
The incumbent will design projects and experiments, carry them out and analyze the data, and write manuscripts. He/She will perform experiments on their own with minimum supervision. It is expected that there is data output on a weekly basis. Design projects and experiments. A candidate should be relatively independent in designing experiments. Paper submission is expected in one year. Writing manuscripts: being able to write initial drafts and organize figures.
Be able to work under the PI's supervision to rewrite manuscripts as suggested in a timely manner.

QualificationsMinimum
Education and Experience:
PhD, 5-10 years of lab work in neuroscience or molecular biology
Certifications/Licenses:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: The incumbent will need experience in neuroscience or molecular biology and mouse genetics due to the nature of study in memory and behavior in mice
Preferred Qualifications:
Equipment Utilized: PCR machine, qPCR machine, water maze, shuttle box, optogenetics
