Licensed Mental Health Therapist (IIC) - Needed in Middlesex County
Join Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (IIC) and provide high‑quality in‑home and center‑based therapy for children, adolescents, and families with diverse mental health needs. This role is located in Middlesex County, NJ.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual in‑home therapy, group therapy, telehealth sessions, and outpatient center sessions for youth.
- Conduct bio‑psycho‑social assessments and develop treatment plans in accordance with evidence‑based practices (CBT, DBT, REBT, Gestalt, Trauma Response).
- Work collaboratively with the Child Family Treatment Team and multidisciplinary professionals to support youth and family decision‑making.
- Maintain timely clinical documentation (intake, treatment plan, DAP notes) and attend mandatory monthly meetings.
- Offer coping and social skills training, anger management, and risk behavior reduction strategies.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or a related field (LSW, LAC, LFT, LPC, LCSW).
- Clinical experience working with youth and families with mental health disorders, including post‑internship field experience.
- Training or willingness to complete Crisis Intervention Training and Bio‑Psycho‑Social assessments.
- Knowledge of DSM‑V assessment and diagnostic criteria.
- Minimum 6–10 hours per week during after‑school hours (12 noon – 8 pm); weekend flexibility is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and registered vehicle.
- Criminal background check (fingerprinting) required.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
Base pay ranging from $45.00 / hr to $75.00 / hr, commensurate with skills and experience. Benefits include competitive pay, ongoing job training, group health coverage, 401K, and paid time off (PTO) based on full‑time or part‑time status.
