Bilingual Licensed Mental Health Therapist; IIC - Middlesex

Overview

Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare has immediate openings for Part-time Licensed Therapists in Northern New Jersey to provide In-Home and Center-Based weekly therapeutic services for youth with mental health disorders.

Base pay range: $45.00/hr - $75.00/hr this range is provided by Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

• Providing individual In-home therapy, group therapy sessions, Telehealth therapy, and outpatient center sessions.
• Performing bio-psycho-social assessments is a plus.
• Provide coping and social skills, anger management, and reduce risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression.
• Work to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate effectively and consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and/or professionals from other disciplines who also work to support the youth and family.
• Submit all required documentation and paperwork within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, DAP notes, etc.).
• Attend monthly meetings and submit mandatory clinical documentation.
• Must be able to complete or be willing to train for Bio-Psycho-Social assessments.

• Must have a master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields such as LSW, LAC, LFT.
• Has Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training.
• Has some training or willing to complete Crisis Intervention Training.
• Has post-internship field experience working with youth with mental health disorders with clinical experience.
• Has experience with creating treatment planning, treatment goals setting, progress notes, and initial assessments.
• Has experience in various counseling approaches: CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response.
• Knows how to use the DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis.
• Must be available for a minimum 6-10 hours per week during after-school hours from 12 noon through 8 pm. Weekend flexibility is a plus.
• Must have experience providing positive behavior supports.
• Must have prior experience working with children ages 3-20; experience with children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle.
• Must pass a criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting.
• Must submit resume plus copies of master’s degree, with a copy of NJ or Certification or License.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor H-1B or other employment visas at this time.

Note: State Reciprocity is considered but the candidate needs to be no more than 25-30 minutes commute to the designated service areas. The license must be registered with the NJ Marriage & Family Therapy Board (i.e., PA, NY & NJ).
