Assistant Professor of Professional Practice Overview
The Department of Accounting & Information Systems at Rutgers Business School, Newark and New Brunswick, is seeking a non‑tenure track, full‑time Assistant Professor of Professional Practice for the 2026‑2027 academic year. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in artificial intelligence and its practical application.
Teaching Responsibilities- Eight 3‑credit courses per academic year 2026‑2027.
- Courses will be taught at the New Brunswick and/or Newark campuses.
- Master’s degree in accounting.
- CPA license.
- Extensive business experience.
- Preference for candidates with a background in artificial intelligence and its practical application.
- Knowledge of course content specific to the department; fluctuates by term and program requirements.
- Ability to participate in special projects and perform assigned duties.
- Salary: $117,000 (subject to factors such as qualifications, experience, and available grant funds).
