Salary Details
A minimum of $82,110 for assistant professor or $114,064 for associate professor.

The Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, Rutgers University, invites applications for a full-time teaching position in Health Administration, with appointments expected to begin July 2026. The school offers an established undergraduate Health Administration major leading to a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, a Master of Health Administration (M.H.A) degree — currently accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) and ranked #28 in U.S. News & World Report — and recently launched a Doctor of Health Administration (D.H.A.) program in Fall 2025.
The position is a non-tenure-track, multi-year teaching appointment. Applicants should have both academic experience and professional experience in health administration.

Successful applicants will teach undergraduate, M.H.A, and D.H.A. courses across more than one content area, such as:

- Healthcare Leadership and Strategy
- Doctoral-Level Applied Scholarship
Courses may be delivered in multiple formats, including in-person, hybrid, and online. The new faculty member will be expected to contribute meaningfully to the D.H.A. program, including teaching doctoral-level courses, mentoring practitioner-scholars, supporting applied scholarship/dissertation work as appropriate, and participating in D.H.A. curricular development.
