Posting Summary
The Department of Pediatrics at Rutgers Robert Wood Medical School is seeking to hire a faculty member in the division of Pediatric Allergy, Immunology and Infectious Disease. The candidate must have an MD or DO degree and be fellowship trained and board‑certified or board‑eligible in pediatric infectious disease. The role involves seeing patients, mentoring students and residents at outpatient and inpatient locations through didactic and bedside teaching, and providing direct inpatient consultations at Bristol Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital (New Brunswick) and Monmouth Medical Center.
Outpatient care will be primarily at East Brunswick, the Child Health Institute (New Brunswick), and the Eatontown ambulatory facilities, with other off‑sites including Somerset, Monroe, Edison, and Lakewood.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for teaching, caring for medically complex children, and leadership. Applicants with research training and a portfolio of scholarly productivity are encouraged.
