RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is currently seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for a full-time role at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center New Brunswick. New staff will obtain a faculty position in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS). The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, a U.S. News and World Report High Performing specialty, are leaders in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in New Jersey.
ResponsibilitiesDuties for this role will include a mixture of clinical and endoscopy outpatient and inpatient clinical duties. New staff will be excited to join a busy practice that receives referrals from all throughout New Jersey. The successful candidate will have their own gastroenterology outpatient clinic, and they will also take part in supervision of gastroenterology fellows’ clinic. The position features opportunities to develop a nationally recognized clinical focus of expertise within gastroenterology, and protected time for teaching and training our 10 gastroenterology and hepatology fellows as well as RWJMS medicine residents and medical students, participation in clinical and translational research if desired, and academic service opportunities.
Qualifications- BC/BE in Gastroenterology
- Eligible for NJ licensure or licensed in NJ
