We are seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join our premier maternal-fetal medicine practice where clinical excellence meets exceptional support, offering both professional fulfillment and work-life balance in a state-of-the-art facility in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

About Maternal Fetal Medicine Division at Saint Peter's

Saint Peter's provides care to more than over 15,000 women annually from all over the Tri-State region. We deliver more than 5,500 babies annually - more than any other facility in central New Jersey. The Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine is housed in the Regional Perinatal Center at Saint Peter's University Hospital, renowned throughout the state for the exceptional level of high-risk maternity and neonatal care we provide.

Saint Peter's also houses an award-winning level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). As a state-designated regional center, the Department of Medical Genetics and Genomic Medicine provides in-patient and out-patient services to patients, including abnormal newborn screens.

Opportunity Highlights

Position Overview: Full-time MFM role with established, high-volume practice serving extensive referral network.
Clinical Excellence & Volume: 5,500+ annual deliveries with established patient panel. Comprehensive maternal and fetal procedural capabilities. Onsite fetal echocardiography and genetic counseling. Live viewing station accessing 9 sonography rooms
Comprehensive Support Team: Board-certified Perinatologists and dedicated NPs/RNs;
Specialized sonographers and genetic counselors. Registered dietitians, social workers, and navigation specialists. 24/7 in-house anesthesia, neonatology, and OB hospitalist coverage
Call Schedule & Coverage: Inpatient coverage rotation with no in-house call. Call rotation:
Every 5-6 nights/weekends. Comprehensive Hospital Coverage
Academic & Research Opportunities: Teaching opportunities with medical students and residents. Monthly department conferences and presentations. Research opportunities: perinatal research consortium and part of the MFMU network via Columbia

Requirements:
Successful completion of an appropriate ACGME or AOA accredited Residency in OB/GYN and Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine
Board certification or eligible in OB/GYN and Maternal Fetal Medicine
MD or DO license in the State of New Jersey
DEA and CDS license
Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance

Full-time compensation at Saint Peter's Healthcare System ranges from $175,000 - $750,000, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, years of experience, academic and administrative appointment, and pre-established metrics on productivity/patient engagement/quality.
