Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is seeking a gastroenterologist to serve as Clinical Director of Gastroenterology and oversee the clinical operations of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology
, ensuring high-quality care, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment with the organization's goals.
This Clinical Director role involves:
- Managing our gastroenterologists' clinical performance and activities, overseeing clinical staff, developing and implementing clinical strategies, and improving patient outcomes through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Interfacing regularly with other key GI, Department of Medicine, and hospital leadership to ensure the vision and strategic goals of the Division are fulfilled.
- Fostering clinical research and educational initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices and evidence-based protocols and having the opportunity to develop and expand their own clinical research interests.
- Have an active gastroenterology practice, participate in gastroenterology fellowship education, and have the opportunity to focus in an area of their clinical interest as well as contribute to the overall academic mission of the Division.
- Candidates must be board-certified gastroenterologists with leadership experience in academic or clinical settings.
