Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Stage Crew Worker for the Mason Gross School of the Arts – Theater Arts department.
Key Duties- Handles scene, costume, sound, lighting, and/or properties.
- Participates as part of carpentry, theatrical electricians, costume drapers/stitchers, backstage crew, or front of house staff during rehearsal and performance.

Salary Details$15.49 - $30 hourly

Terms of AppointmentTemporary Staff Appointment - Hourly
Minimum Education and Experience- High school/vocational school education or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Professional experience in area of theatrical production or equivalent professional experience.
- Power tools including but not limited to drills, saws (circular, miter, band), routers, nail guns, and sanders.
- Sewing machines, steamers, and other costume related equipment utilized in the costume shop.
- Employees must be comfortable on ladders and be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
- Hours vary from sporadic to 19.5 hours per week.
