Scarlet Knight Enterprises (SKE), is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Partnerships & Events Intern to support the planning, coordination, and execution of partnership engagement initiatives and special events. This internship offers hands-on experience in corporate partnership activation, client engagement, and event operations within a Division I athletics environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative team.
InternshipDescription
- Assist in the planning and execution of corporate partnership events, meetings, and special projects.
- Compile, maintain, and organize customer and prospect data in Excel to support engagement strategies.
- Conduct research and develop background briefs and bios on clients and prospective partners for executive staff.
- Support event logistics including invitation creation and distribution (email and print), event material production, decor coordination, and on-site event assistance.
- Track RSVPs and manage attendee lists for all events.
- Research vendors, assist with vendor communication, order management, and budget alleviation.
- Prepare, package, and mail gifts and other engagement correspondence.
- Assist with product inventory management and organization.
- Support on gameday corporate partnership and hospitality operations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support partnership activation efforts.
- Provide general administrative and operational support as needed.
- Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student at Rutgers University – New Brunswick.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Forward-thinking mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
