Schedule and dispatch backup for the central dispatch department and oversee truck movement and scheduling;
Monitor orders, tracking, and scheduling; optimize use of drivers and equipment;
Maintain accurate availability of trucks and delivery times; determine first available times when schedule is booked;
Communicate with Customer Service/Dispatch Manager and plant managers about plant closings, maintenance, and rescheduling;
Coordinate with drivers, dispatch, and customers to resolve late or interrupted service and communicate essential updates to stakeholders
