Job Summary

The Inventory Compliance Specialist you will be responsible for controlling and managing inventory operations efficiently and accurately. Your primary duties will include receiving, stocking, tracking, and organizing cannabis products to ensure smooth and compliant daily operations. You will help to maintain both Dutchie and Biotrack tracking systems, create shipping invoices and manifests, create and update products in the catalog for both systems, assist with the creation and production of product compliance labels, and work closely with the inventory team, Inventory Supervisor and Manager to maintain accurate inventory levels and provide support during audits.

Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with cannabis products and regulations are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the Cultivation Team on
    : validations, transports, clone creation, clone reporting, mapping rooms, recording harvesting weights, harvest green waste, harvest batching, physical COAs, and participating in Green Waste monthly audits.
  • Testing Responsibilities
    : prepare samples, track COA data, create bulk packaging, oversee weighing and manifesting, conduct audits, assist in production movement, liaison with the Lab.
  • Post Harvest & Packaging
    : prepare finished goods, participate in quality control, packaging of Green Waste, creation of compliance labeling, tracking and recording weight and product movement.
  • Distribution & Delivery
    : coordinate transports, oversee Leaf Trade, track and record weight sheets, responsible for placing orders, manifests, staging and handoffs.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records of cannabis products, including tracking quantities, expiration dates, and strains.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy between records and actual stock levels.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including cultivation, processing, and sales, to coordinate inventory movements and fulfill orders efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area to optimize efficiency and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Follow all state and local regulations regarding the storage, handling, and transportation of cannabis products.
  • Perform quality control checks on incoming cannabis products to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Keep up to date with current regulations and best practices in the cannabis industry to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
Education & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the cannabis industry preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi‑task effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and systems, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Knowledge of state and local regulations pertaining to the storage, handling, and transportation of cannabis products.
