The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute-care community teaching hospital; we provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse the Unit Secretary coordinates selected patient activities between the nursing unit and other internal departments, maintains and organizes patient medical records and nursing unit activity files, transcribes medical orders and orders and maintains equipment and supplies.
