About the Position
Established in 1968, Gilead has 50+ years of experience providing the highest quality services that support each person's recovery from mental health or substance use challenges. Gilead Community Services is seeking a dedicated per‑diem Cook to join our multi‑disciplinary residential program staff in the New Britain area adult residential substance abuse program.
Responsibilities- Preparing meals according to recipe instructions
- Setting the steam table and ensuring the proper serving of food
- Ensuring the availability of supplies for planned menu
- Maintaining the workspace in compliance with established sanitation standards
- Maintaining daily production records
- High school diploma required
- 3 years cooking experience
- Must maintain and provide proof of a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance in good standing
