Overview

ABI Resources is a home and community care provider delivering support to individuals recovering from brain injury, stroke, and traumatic brain injury in the Connecticut area. This position involves helping clients manage every aspect of their daily life within the comfort of their homes.

• Support clients with all aspects of home and community life.
• Ensure consistent safety and personal hygiene.
• Manage personal dressing and grooming.
• Schedule, attend, and report on medical and therapeutic appointments.
• Assist with shopping, cooking, and cleaning.
• Organize consistent exercise, socialization, and entertainment.
• Provide a healthy and professional friendship.

• Full‑time or part‑time, according to the schedule needed.
• Weekday and weekend shifts available.

• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation, with proof of insurance.
• Drug screening required.
• One year (preferred) experience working with individuals with disabilities. If you have relevant experience, please provide a letter from a person or employer verifying it.
