CMHA is looking to hire a full-time 2nd shift Residential Monitor for our Residential PV5 Program. This position will be located at 66 Clinic Dr. New Britain, CT 06051. Tuesday - Saturday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position starts at $19.00 per hour.

Compensation for each position is determined not only by years of relevant experience, education, and skills, but also by maintaining internal pay equity. Responsibilities
  • Provide direct assistance to program clients in the accomplishment of activities of daily living, routine program chores, and personal treatment goals.
  • Demonstrate and coach the development of skills identified as goals in the treatment plan.
  • Provide transportation for clients to maintain medical or other appointments outside the program.
  • Respond appropriately and in compliance with agency policies and procedures to emergent incidents/accidents that develop with clients and/or in the environment of care by contacting and reporting to 911 and chain of command.
  • Supervise self-administration of medication with clients as scheduled, following protocols as trained.
  • Complete shift notes and required documentation related to client care, and communicate all relevant activity to incoming shift staff.
  • Maintain safety, security and satisfaction of clients by monitoring the environment of care and ensuring the physical environment is in compliance with regulations, and by making and documenting routine hourly checks of clients.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Will become certified in MANDT, First Aid, and CPR.
  • Participate in trainings on an annual basis, as assigned.
