About the Program

Family Based Recovery provides intensive, in‑home clinical treatment for families with infants or young children (birth to age
6) at risk for abuse, neglect, developmental delays, or removal due to parental substance use. The goal is to promote stability, safety, and permanency. Services are family‑focused, strength‑based, trauma‑informed, culturally competent, and responsive to each child and family's needs. The clinical team offers intensive psychotherapy and substance use treatment for parents, and attachment‑based parent‑child therapy for the dyad.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provides clinical direction and leadership within the team.
  • Ensures clients receive services focused on presenting problems and treatment requests.
  • Directs crisis intervention efforts and intervenes as required.
  • Monitors client meetings, admissions, continued stay, and discharge criteria.
  • Reviews caseloads regularly to ensure appropriate service utilization.
  • Oversees hiring, training, and performance management of staff within the program.
  • Facilitates team meetings.
  • Participates in internal and external meetings as needed by program and agency.
  • Ensures client, program, and agency documentation is completed timely and in accordance with standards.
  • Acts as primary point person for program and provides backup coverage as needed.
  • Ensures proper maintenance of vehicles (if applicable).
  • Collaborates across teams and divisions to improve quality, workflow, and communication.
  • Ensures timely completion of reports.
  • Oversees completion of chart audits.
  • Ensures proper completion of insurance authorizations as needed.
  • Develops and executes marketing plan for program (as required).
  • Provides on‑call coverage during and after program hours as assigned.
  • Participates in committees to improve agency service delivery and quality improvement.
  • Responsible for program budgets and productivity expectations.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a mental health related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a clinician.
  • Two years of clinical supervisory experience or management in a behavioral health setting (preferred).
  • Licensed LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or Licensed Psychologist in CT (or LADC for OTP programs).
  • Family Based Recovery experience (additional qualification).

Compensation

Starting at $70,581/yr min., and up commensurate upon experience. Rates determined at offer time based on experience and internal equity policy. Program/location differentials and/or sign‑on incentives may apply.
