What You'll Do:- Drive Quality Assurance
:
Interpret customer drawings, specifications, and contract requirements to develop and implement quality plans and inspections that meet the highest industry standards. - Collaborate and Innovate
:
Work closely with team members to review and analyze statistical data, conduct Gage R&R studies, and maintain up-to-date technical knowledge. - Lead Improvement Efforts
:
Develop and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to both internal and external customers, ensuring compliance with rigorous aerospace quality standards. - Utilize Your Expertise
:
Apply your knowledge of SPC, PPAP, GD&T, and AS9100 standards to drive continuous improvement and maintain our client’s position as an industry leader.
- Educational Background
:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a minimum of three years of relevant experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Industry Experience
:
Experience with Aerospace Manufacturing, familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, and proficiency in special processes such as Heat Treating, Shot Peening, and NDT. - Technical Skills
:
Strong understanding of print reading, ANSI-Y-14.5, AS9102 completion, and a solid grasp of SPC, PPAP, and GD&T. - Problem-Solving Abilities
:
Proven ability to interpret technical instructions, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. - Communication
:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present reports and findings across all levels of the organization.
