Administrative Associate III – Palliative Care Wolfson
Location: 100 Grand Street, New Britain, CT 10126
About the role: This position supports the Medical Director and the Palliative Care Department staff in a variety of administrative functions. The Administrative Associate III ensures departmental records, communications, and quality improvement data are managed accurately and efficiently within the acute‑care teaching hospital environment.

- Provide administrative support to the medical director and department staff.
- Manage departmental activity database and patient records.
- Handle bereavement program correspondence and activity records.
- Coordinate office phone activity and messages.
- Schedule and coordinate multiple meetings; prepare minutes and maintain meeting records.
- Facilitate community education programs and activities.
- Maintain family satisfaction survey results and data entry for departmental quality improvement activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access); accurate data entry.
- Positive interpersonal skills with diverse patients and families experiencing difficult situations.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with the public and other professionals.
- Open approach to work, willingness to ask questions, and seek creative solutions to improve departmental function.
- Critical thinking skills and self‑motivation; proactive when guidance or support is needed.
• 2‑ or 4‑year degree preferred; high school diploma or GED acceptable with a minimum of three years of prior administrative assistant experience.
