Administrative Associate III – Palliative Care Wolfson

Location: 100 Grand Street, New Britain, CT 10126

About the role: This position supports the Medical Director and the Palliative Care Department staff in a variety of administrative functions. The Administrative Associate III ensures departmental records, communications, and quality improvement data are managed accurately and efficiently within the acute‑care teaching hospital environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the medical director and department staff.
  • Manage departmental activity database and patient records.
  • Handle bereavement program correspondence and activity records.
  • Coordinate office phone activity and messages.
  • Schedule and coordinate multiple meetings; prepare minutes and maintain meeting records.
  • Facilitate community education programs and activities.
  • Maintain family satisfaction survey results and data entry for departmental quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• 2‑ or 4‑year degree preferred; high school diploma or GED acceptable with a minimum of three years of prior administrative assistant experience.
