Central Connecticut State University invites applications to join Academic Affairs in the Central Community Health Education Clinic (CCHEC) as a full‑time Administrative Faculty Program Associate. About CCSU's Central Community Health Education Clinic

The Central Community Health Education Clinic offers preventative health screenings, educational programs, and workshops to residents of the greater New Britain area and to university faculty and staff, while providing students opportunities to gain valuable hands‑on experience in their field.

Position Profile

The Administrative Faculty Program Associate plays a vital role in the oversight and daily operations of CCHEC, supporting faculty‑led student teams in delivering high‑quality health education and community services. This position ensures smooth and efficient administrative, financial, and operational functions in compliance with university and healthcare policies, and works closely with faculty, students, and community partners to expand the impact of CCHEC’s mission.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education:

    All applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related area:
    Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or other relevant field.
  • Experience and Training:
    Two (2) years of professional experience performing entry‑level duties associated with healthcare administration, community settings, nonprofit organizations, or university‑based program operations.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience supporting daily clinic operations, including scheduling, event coordination, recordkeeping, and maintaining organized workflows.
    • Familiarity with supporting clinic sessions, workshops, and community events, including setup, cleanup, and onsite support.
    • Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations and standards.
    • Experience using computerized systems and software, including Microsoft Office, office technology, EHR platforms, and data analysis tools such as Health streams and Medicat.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving clinic needs and priorities.
    • Familiarity with administrative processes.

Compensation and Employee Benefits

The Administrative Faculty Program Associate is compensated at the Administrator II salary level in accordance with the State University Organization of Administrative Faculty (SUOAF) Collective Bargaining Union Agreement.
