We are building an AI and Innovation practice that will enable our organization to stay at the forefront of technology and transformation. As part of this journey, we are seeking an enthusiastic and driven AI Application Developer. Reporting to the Vice President of AI and Innovation, this individual will help build next-generation AI applications using Microsoft Azure and Co‑Pilot Studio. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with a strong ability to connect with others, manage diverse responsibilities, and adapt in a fast‑paced, start‑up‑like environment.
WhatYou Will Do
- Design, develop, and deploy sophisticated Generative AI applications using Microsoft Azure, Azure OpenAI, and Copilot Studio.
- Engineer robust, scalable app architectures for AI‑driven automation, conversational interfaces, and agentic AI systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Prototype and iterate on innovative agentic AI capabilities, optimizing for performance and user experience.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications, ensuring high security, reliability, and scalability.
- Stay current with AI advances, Azure updates, and best practices in responsible and ethical AI deployment.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, explaining complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- 2+ years of experience in AI application development.
- 3-5 years of overall development experience.
- Proven experience building and deploying AI‑powered apps on Microsoft Azure.
- Hands‑on expertise with Copilot Studio and Azure AI services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services).
- Solid understanding of prompt engineering and generative model fine‑tuning.
- Familiarity with app development frameworks (e.g., .NET, Node.js, React) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, cloud security, and Dev Ops practices.
- Ability to work with data pipelines: ingestion, processing, and model integration.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and solution‑oriented mindset.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor others.
- Adaptability to a fast‑changing technology landscape and project requirements.
- Curiosity, creativity, and a passion for user‑centric design.
- High attention to detail and ethical responsibility in AI development.
- Experience with enterprise AI deployments and/or conversational AI in customer‑facing products.
- Certifications in Microsoft Azure or related AI technologies.
- Demonstrated contributions to open‑source projects or AI communities.
This role will be based out of our New Brighton office
. The pay range is $106,000 - $159,000
, depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for annual bonus and profit sharing based on company performance in addition to other benefits that support the total well‑being of you and your family.
