Mytech is looking for a Purchasing Specialist who thrives on organization, communication, and solving problems when the “easy” option isn’t available. If you enjoy being the hub that keeps orders, vendors, and internal teams aligned — this role is for you.

As a Purchasing Specialist at Mytech, you’ll facilitate both client and internal purchases from order to delivery. You’ll work closely with vendors, sales, project teams, and finance to ensure orders are accurate, timely, and well‑communicated.

Supply chain challenges still happen — so creativity, persistence, and follow‑through matter. You’ll be responsible for keeping stakeholders informed as orders move through the procurement lifecycle and for maintaining clean, accurate data in our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate product purchases from request through delivery, ensuring orders are accurate, timely, and well‑communicated.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between vendors and internal teams to resolve questions, delays, or supply issues.
  • Build strong vendor relationships and manage purchasing workflows across hardware and software products.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 licensing, including adds/removals, plan updates, and renewals.
  • Partner with Sales to support subscription decisions and ensure smooth transitions during plan or contract changes.
  • Maintain accurate licensing records to ensure billing alignment and renewal readiness.
  • Monitor inventory levels and movement across locations using reporting and inventory systems.
  • Identify slow‑moving or excess inventory and collaborate on strategies to improve turnover and reduce waste.
  • Contribute to inventory and product catalog improvements to strengthen data accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain clear, accurate purchasing and order records within company systems.
  • Support reporting and data tracking to improve visibility and decision‑making.
  • Partner with Accounting to ensure clean documentation and smooth billing handoffs.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Experience in purchasing, procurement, or the IT industry preferred
  • Vendor relationship experience a plus
  • Connect Wise experience a plus
  • Strong organizational and process‑oriented mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt quickly to change
