* Job Description:

**** Overview
* * Operate a service truck and drive to projects throughout Specified locations for the repair, service, and maintenance of Heavy Equipment and other equipment in the field environment. This will include basic repair knowledge and troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, and engine components. Welding and DOT compliance knowledge is a plus. Experience in Gomaco paving equipment is a Plus

Perform a variety of skilled duties which may involve inspection, diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair, and some welding Read, understand, and fill out service-related documents and paperwork in a timely manner. Read and interpret specifications, manuals and order parts Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to ensure maintenance activities on performed in a timely manner Clean and maintain work vehicle and work area as necessary to maintain a safe work environment Safely use hand and power tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices Communicate effectively with vendors, supervisors, drivers and operators Exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety Assist other mechanics with various repairs Other unlisted duties will be assigned
