Position: Marketing / Business Development Person

Our client is seeking a motivated Marketing & Business Development professional to support growth within the U.S. live events industry. This role focuses on promoting nationwide labor support services while building strong, long-term relationships with live event production companies, AV providers, venues, and meeting planners. It’s an excellent opportunity for a proactive, CRM-driven professional who enjoys long sales cycles and thrives in a relationship-based sales environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and qualify leads using internal databases and prospecting tools.
  • Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, social media, and Linked In.
  • Track and manage all activity within Salesforce or an approved CRM.
  • Execute structured follow-up campaigns at 3-, 6-, and 12-month intervals.
  • Develop long-term client relationships and identify multi-city or national opportunities.
  • Coordinate the transition of secured business to Operations and Workforce teams.
  • Support monthly email marketing campaigns and social media updates.
  • Assist with database maintenance, segmentation, and data accuracy.
  • Participate in weekly Sales and Labor meetings.
Qualifications
  • Experience in business development or sales within live events, AV, or production industries.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Confidence with outbound prospecting and long sales cycles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools.
  • Familiarity with lead generation and email marketing tools (preferred).
  • Understanding of sales pipelines, KPIs, and reporting metrics.
