Barback Part Time

Position Overview

The Barback plays a behind-the-scenes but essential role in keeping the bar running smoothly. This position supports the bartenders by maintaining stock, keeping the bar clean and organized, and ensuring bartenders have everything they need to deliver fast, friendly service.

• Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies throughout service.
• Assist bartenders with preparing garnishes, glassware, and setup before each shift.
• Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
• Collect and wash glassware, ensuring a steady supply for service.
• Empty trash and recycling as needed during and after shifts.
• Assist with kegs, ice, and other heavy lifting to support service.
• Work closely with bartenders and servers to maintain smooth operations.

• Previous experience in hospitality preferred but not required—on-the-job training provided.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Must be of legal age to work around alcohol service.
• TABC certification or ability to obtain one prior to start date.
