Line Cook

Position Overview

The Line Cook plays a vital role in ensuring that dishes are prepared to recipe standards, plated beautifully, and delivered quickly. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
• Ensure food is cooked, seasoned, and plated to Courthouse standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout service.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with prep work, stock rotation, and kitchen organization.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
• Support other kitchen duties as assigned by the Sous Chef or Head Chef.

• Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate).
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
• Food handler’s certification (or ability to obtain) within the first week.
