Responsibilities- Lead APP’s primary responsibility is to care for patients by building highly reliable, high performing APP clinicians who are part of the Physician‑APP team to produce effective outcomes for patients and the organization.
- Site Lead APP is responsible for providing leadership of all APP hospitalist staff at a single hospital.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director, hospitalist physicians, nursing leadership team, and hospital medical staff to ensure the inpatient care delivery model achieves high‑quality in‑patient care that evolves to match the needs of patients, the hospital, and the community.
- As a leader, be accountable for creating an inclusive work environment, providing recognition, performance coaching and career guidance to the APP team, and creating a pipeline of talent for the organization.
- BC/BP in Emergency Medicine, or BC/BP in a primary specialty (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) with recent experience.
- Current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications with Emergency Medicine experience.

Level IV - Currently developing euglycemic order set for EMR in addition to a similar plan for subcutaneous insulin treatment of mild DKA.
