Real Estate Attorney
Our customer utility and infrastructure company is seeking a knowledgeable and business-oriented Real Estate Attorney to support our land acquisition, development, and infrastructure projects across Texas. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive base salary and the opportunity to be part of high-impact, sustainable development work. Experience with developers and infrastructure projects is highly valued.
Location: Preferred:
New Braunfels, San Antonio, or Houston, TX (Hybrid/Remote flexibility available)

Key Responsibilities- Provide legal guidance on real estate transactions including land acquisition, easements, and title matters
- Draft and negotiate real estate documents such as purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, option contracts, and leases
- Conduct due diligence for potential acquisitions including zoning, permitting, title, and environmental review
- Coordinate with external counsel, title companies, and local municipalities to ensure timely and compliant closings
- Advise internal stakeholders on legal considerations impacting infrastructure development and land use strategy
- Monitor and interpret relevant laws, regulations, and municipal policies in Texas related to real estate and development
- JD from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas
- 5+ years of experience in real estate law, with a strong preference for experience supporting developers or utility/infrastructure projects
- Expertise in Texas real estate law, land use, permitting, and title matters
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives in a dynamic environment
New Braunfels, San Antonio, or Houston, TX. Remote candidates within Texas will also be considered, with occasional travel as needed.
