The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the administration, interpretation and evaluation of tests and measurements. Plans and modifies treatment programs. Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency, as applicable. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience- MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: No previous work experience necessary. After completion of 3 full years/beginning of 4th year may be eligible for Occupational Therapist Level II.
- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Clinical experience in variety of settings, Hand Therapy, Ergonomics, as well as marketing and business familiarity. Spanish Proficiency
- REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: NEW GRADUATES:
Possession of current Texas State license prior to orientation. ALL OTHERS:

- REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
