Overview

New Braunfels Vision Center, LLC is a well-established ophthalmology practice serving the Texas Hill Country since 1997. Our current facility is an 8,000 sq ft office space recently constructed in 2012. We have 8 exam lanes, a 1,500 sq ft optical shop, and operate at a physician-owned ASC with buy-in opportunities available. In the last year we had more than 13,000 patient visits and performed in excess of 750 surgeries.

The practice consists of 2 MDs, 1 OD, and a team of 16 supporting staff, with infrastructure and volume capacity to support continued growth. We utilize a cloud-based, ophthalmology-specific electronic medical record (EMR) system.

In-office technology includes YAG, Argon, and SLT lasers, as well as advanced diagnostic instrumentation such as the Marco OPD, Lipi View, Zeiss OCT, Atlas corneal topography system, and Oculus Pentacam. In-office refractive procedures are performed using the Star S4 IR excimer laser. Our ophthalmologists perform surgery at a dedicated ambulatory surgery center located approximately five minutes from the office, where they utilize advanced surgical technologies including Optiwave Refractive Analysis (ORA), femtosecond laser–assisted cataract surgery (FLACS), and the Ngenuity 3D visualization system.
