Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disruptive behavior and communicating with clinical staff and/or local emergency responders as needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols of corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify hazards, maintenance issues, and policy concerns;
Control access through doors, gates, and other controlled points, including checking credentials, directing visitors, and monitoring for unauthorized entry into restricted areas;
Complete routine reports and incident documentation, monitor alarms and/or cameras as assigned, and promptly notify Allied Universal supervision and site leadership of conditions requiring follow-up
