Overview
Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) at 7-Eleven. We are hiring immediately and focused on your success. We provide proper training to help you confidently provide excellent customer service to our customers every time they visit. Responsibilities- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching, alongside the Store Leader, for all store employees.
- Support the implementation of merchandising and marketing programs.
- Maintain cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
- Maintain a clean, safe store environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures, ensuring products are in-stock, and the store is presentable.
- Assist in supervising store operations and driving employee productivity and retention through development of leaders and qualified applicants.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of retail management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee customer service leadership, training, and coaching.
- Strong retention focus, identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
- Proficiency in computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel preferred).
- Valid driver’s license from the state of residence and maintain vehicle insurance during employment.
- Ability to multi-task, perform repetitive tasks, stand, bend, reach, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
