IMC is a twenty-four bed Intermediate Care Unit with a cardiac focus. The registered nurse provides direct care to patients requiring a higher level of care and continuous cardiac monitoring. Patients admitted include those with atrial/ventricle dysrhythmias, bradycardia/tachycardia events, post-catheterization, post-pacemaker placements, and heart failure. The unit also cares for medical IMC level patients.
