Process Specialist I, 1st Shift –

Location: New Bern, NC

Pay Range: $20.72 - $28.56 per hour

Incentive Plan: Annual Bonus 1% of target

Shift: First Shift

• Maintain awareness of BSH safety guidelines
• Adhere to BSH safety guidelines by wearing and utilizing required PPE
• Understand and participate in 5S process
• Follow work instructions necessary for safe operation of machines
• Provide proper training for positions, covering methods, quality, safety, productivity, and parts knowledge
• Define and solve problems with parts and assembly stations
• Perform required paperwork such as SPC, quality checks, parts ordering, and other needs
• Assist with pre‑shift and post‑shift activities such as TPM and 5S
• Ensure factory KPIs are met and reported using SAP
• Perform all positions in the area and remain flexible to work in other areas when needed
• Help establish quality standards for product parts
• Act as backup Team Leader when necessary
• Follow up daily with Team Leader to foster a positive team environment
• Perform all other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma – Required
• 0–2 Years of Experience in manufacturing processes and plant safety regulations – Required
• Preferred experience in manufacturing processes and plant safety regulations
• Ability to learn SAP
• Basic skills in Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office
• Basic 5S knowledge
• Basic manufacturing knowledge
• Good communication skills
• SPC knowledge
• Basic measurement instruments and machine control knowledge
