Maintenance Tech

Bayview Nursing & Rehabilitation, a well‑respected nursing facility in New Bern, is currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant. Our facility provides residents with a full range of long‑term care and rehabilitation services, along with a variety of engaging social and recreational activities.

• Time management skills and ability to prioritize (essential)
• Knowledge and ability to work on plumbing systems, electrical systems, alarm systems, appliances, commercial stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers, air‑conditioning and heating units.
• Be comfortable using computer systems, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills
• Self‑starter and ability to work independently
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Valid NC driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders or other similar equipment
• Ability to bend and crawl in tight areas
• Ability to respond to emergency calls/situations after hours
