Route Driver

Overview

Route Driver – American Bolt Corporation, in New Berlin, WI, is looking to hire a full-time Route Driver (internal job title: Vendor Managed Inventory Specialist).

• Load your van/truck with orders picked by the warehouse for your route.
• Ensure you have everything needed to complete your daily route with attention to detail.
• Arrive at customer locations with a positive attitude and deliver appropriate products.
• Replenish bins and scan appropriate bins to create new sales orders for the next route.
• Communicate with customers to ensure product levels meet their expectations.
• Work independently with a focus on customer service in the Vendor Managed Inventory program.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience delivering/route driving and customer service
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely climb ladders while carrying heavy products
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly

This full-time route driver position has 1st shift hours starting at 7:00 AM Monday to Friday. End times will vary by route (some days may end at 2:30 PM and some at 4:00 PM). This is a 40 hour/week position.
