Description
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating a variety of CNC and manual machining equipment to modify standard industrial components. This role supports production by ensuring parts are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with quality and safety standards. Additional responsibilities include light assembly, material handling, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements- Operate CNC and manual machining equipment, including Haas CNC lathes and mills, drill presses, cold saws, band saws, and manual mills
- Modify standard industrial components such as handles, knobs, studs, hand wheels, and crank handles according to specifications
- Load, unload, and inspect parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
- Perform basic machine setups and adjustments as required
- Complete light assembly work as needed
- Unpack incoming materials and pack finished goods for shipment
- Maintain accurate production documentation as required
- Perform general housekeeping duties to keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Basic understanding of machining processes and shop equipment
- Ability to read basic work instructions, drawings, or specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior machine shop or manufacturing experience preferred but not required; training may be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and work in a manufacturing environment
This role is performed in a clean, heated, and air-conditioned manufacturing facility with modern equipment. The position may involve exposure to noise and moving mechanical parts. Appropriate personal protective equipment is required.

ScheduleThis position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, working a 40-hour workweek. Occasional voluntary overtime may be available based on business needs.
