Responsibilities

  • Assemble technical mechanical and electrical production assembly line builds to standard rate.
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Align and fit mechanical and electrical assemblies by using templates, reading measurements, build gages, hand, DC tools and power tools.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed components by using quality gages and measuring tools to perform required checks.
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements;
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Operate with the mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance and maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with corporate procedures, policies, and standards.
  • Participate in daily meetings and bring up anything that is needed for line builds.
  • Interact with management, peers, line lead, and MAG EMT's verbally and/or in written form.
  • Able/willing to train, mentor, and knowledge transfer to fellow teammates.
  • Pallet jack, manipulator & crane lift usage required in this role, for truck experience is a plus
Qualifications
  • Able to troubleshoot and repair technical mechanical and electrical products and equipment is a plus
  • Previous experience working within a highly technical environment with light electrical assembly and/or heavy equipment mechanical assembly.
  • Basic knowledge in electrical and mechanical blue print reading and torque values.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments.
  • Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiently.
